As part of our commitment to change the African mentality towards women’s dependency on men, the HVTC continues to focus on advancing technical skills for women.  Just recently the women of HVTC learned how to create batik styled designs (tie dye) for the traditional clothing like kanga and kitenge that are commonly found throughout Tanzania.  Pictures of the women creating the batik style.
